Head Office Vacancies
Katoomba Christian Convention (KCC) gathers people – from all denominations, life stages and geographies – to see them transformed by Jesus, through the powerful preaching of God’s Word. Our events become spaces for families, highschoolers, young adults, men and women to be nurtured and challenged in their faith; returning to their everyday lives with a renewed energy and fire to live it out.
Event Coordinator (Full-time, Burwood NSW)
Bring your skills and faith together in this exciting events role, and join a fantastic, supportive team to bring KCC events to life.
The Role
Life-impacting events are at the core of the ministry of KCC, and the Event Coordinator role is central to seeing every KCC event happen. You will oversee and manage (together with an amazing team!) all the details to see your events come to life: event logistics, budgets, speaker liaison, marketing, registration, volunteer management and merchandising, and be the key liaison with venues, external suppliers, volunteers and committees. A keen eye for detail, forward planning skills, and related industry experience are crucial for this exciting role.
About You
You will have solid industry experience in the events sector or similar, with qualifications in Event Management and exposure to the Not-For-Profit sector highly desirable. Ideally you will also have already benefited from attendance at, and be familiar with, KCC’s events. You’ll already know this, but with events being the work we do, some weekend or after-hours work will be needed (to be at events and committee meetings).
This is a full-time position based in the KCC office in Burwood, NSW.
To Apply
Please read the job description first here! To be considered, you must provide both a CV and a cover letter in your application via email to info@kcc.org.au. We would love to hear about why you are interested in the role, and how your experience relates to the essential job requirements (as listed in the job description).
Applications will close when a suitable candidate is found.
