Jackie Hill Perry and CityAlight are set to join OneLove women’s conference this August. Hosted by Katoomba Christian Convention, OneLove is a one-day event for all women to gather together under life-changing preaching, inspiring testimonies and fantastic fellowship.
Serving thousands of women each year, OneLove is committed to serving delegates with powerful Bible teaching that will inspire women in their walk with Jesus. The event has hosted an array of international and local speakers including Nancy Guthrie, Kara Martin, Amy Orr-Ewing, Lizzy Smallwood, and Mary Willson. This year, OneLove will host award-winning author (Gay Girl, Good God), Bible teacher and Hip Hop artist, Jackie Hill Perry.
Perry will preach on the theme “Worthy of Trust: The God Who Sees Us”, encouraging both Christians and skeptics to consider the trustworthiness of God in Scripture, and why he is worthy of our absolute trust and devotion.
Award-winning band, CityAlight, will also join OneLove to lead women in worship and songs of praise. A ministry of St Paul’s Church in Sydney, CityAlight has written many popular songs including Yet Not I, But Christ In Me, Jesus, Strong and Kind, and Only a Holy God. They have collaborated with much-loved Australian Christian singer, Colin Buchanan and recently completed an album Simple Songs for Young and Old which blends modern hymns with familiar lyrics from Sunday school.
