Help us out at our beautiful Blue Mountains site!
We rely on volunteer power!
Your practical help greatly assists our friendly site staff team to care for and make improvements to the place of KCC’s convention ministry!
We would love to hear from you if you are able to help!
There are many ways to get involved:
- Join a KCC Working Bee 13-24 Jan 2025 or 10-21 Nov 2025 (Mon to Fri, or a day or more of this time)
- Bring a church group or a few friends to stay on site for a couple of days, and to assist using your many and varied talents. Give our site a call on (02) 4780 8222 or send us an email to make arrangements with us.
- If you live locally, have a chat to us about the possibilities – whether for projects from time to time, or weekly, fortnightly or monthly times.
What’s Involved
KCC Working Bee
We invite you to come and enjoy fulfilling work, with other Christian people in the mountains. There will be lots of projects to complete, and we need as many hands as possible. Whether you’re a trained landscaper, a beginner painter, a willing gardener, a tradie or a lifelong engineer, or just happy to help wherever needed — your time and energy will be appreciated.
KCC will provide morning tea and lunch each day. Camping and accommodation options are by arrangement with you, subject to availability. Please bring work clothes, sun and wet weather protection, good boots, safety glasses, gloves and any other handy tools or equipment.
The next KCC Working Bee is:
13th- 24th January 2025
A 2 week period working Mon-Fri
You are welcome to come for any period of this time — 1 full day minimum, 2 days preferred, 1 or 2 weeks is ideal

Further Information
KCC Bushland Carers
Our KCC Bushland Carers group was launched at the Working Bee in November 2015. Our Working Bees usually include bush regeneration activities, along with other projects.
Help us care for the beautiful creation that we’ve been given to look after on our property in Katoomba. Katoomba Christian Convention looks across to the world famous Three Sisters and sits next door to the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. We have beautiful ridge top bushland and a federally significant hanging swamp.
Learn how to use bush regeneration techniques to control threatening weeds.
Demonstrate to our visitor and the local community that we value and want to protect these environmental values.
